Lens & Leaves Camera Club, 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at Beech Maple Lodge. See member photos and learn photographic techniques. Nonmembers welcome.

Pawpaw Prowl, 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Nature Center. Take a 1-mile walk in the forest to search for Ohio's native fruit.

Night Owl 5K, 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Ash Grove picnic area. Enjoy a 3.1-mile night run.

Nature Bike Ride, noon Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Nature Center. Enjoy a casual ride along the Blacklick Creek Greenway Trail with a few nature stops.

Homeschoolers: Stream Quality Monitoring, 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at the Nature Center. Take a 2-mile roundtrip hike to Blacklick Creek and help determine the quality of the water.

Preschoolers: Fitness Fun, 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Beech Maple Lodge. Run an obstacle course and learn about fitness for kids.

Blendon Woods Metro Park

4265 E. Dublin Granville Road, Westerville

Bird Hike, 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Nature Center. Search for warblers and other migratory songbirds on their way south.

Pokemon Night Safari, 9 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10. Look for Pokemon after dark and after hours. Follow signs for the starting location.

Metro Five-0: Level 2 -- Night Walk, 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Nature Center. Take a short stroll on a paved trail to view the moon over Thoreau Lake. For ages 50 and older.

Children's Fishing, 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, at the barn shelter. Drop a line in the lake and try to catch a big fish. Bait and poles provided. For ages 15 and younger.

Inniswood Metro Gardens

Sunny Sundays, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sundays. Members of the Central Ohio Unit of the Herb Society of America will be in the Herb Garden to answer questions.

Meet the Artist, 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Innis House. Meet Robie Benve at a reception and view her oil and acrylic artwork.

Evening Garden Walk, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, at the gardens entrance. Garden staff will lead a guided evening stroll through the gardens.

Scioto Audubon Metro Park

Pre-K Storytime, 10 a.m. Thursdays and Saturdays at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center, 505 W. Whittier St. Bring little ones for a nature-inspired story or two.

Late Night at the Climbing Wall, until midnight Friday, Sept. 9, at the climbing wall. The climbing wall will stay open until midnight. The wall has four auto belays, but climbers must bring their own climbing harnesses. Late-night fishing also is available from the dock on the Scioto River.

Community Rock Climbing Festival, 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at the climbing wall. Enjoy a full day with climbing clinics and competitions, a slackline walk, yoga, food vendors and crashpad sumo wrestling. The movie "Everest" also will be shown after dark.

Sharon Woods Metro Park

Family Fun: Pond Safari, 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Schrock Lake west bulletin board. Learn about aquatic friends that live in Schrock Lake. For ages 3-8.

Slate Run Living Historical Farm

Catsups and Condiments, 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10. Discover other kinds of catsup besides tomato as the farm ladies make sauces and seasonings.

Three Creeks Park

Campfire Breakfast Hike, 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Confluence Trails bulletin board. Enjoy nature on a 2-mile hike, then have breakfast prepared over a campfire.

Tree ID Bike Ride, 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Confluence Trails bulletin board. Take a 6-mile ride with stops along the way to learn how to identify trees.

Preschoolers: Bug Adventure, 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Groveport Nature Center, 551 Wirt Road. Learn about the world of insects and spiders through stories and activities.

Homeschoolers: Exploring Insects, 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Heron Pond bulletin board. Catch and release insects while discovering their vital role in the world.
