To the Editor:

For its second year, the UA Stage event was a rousing success offered by the UA Civic Association on Feb. 18.

The free event included a catered dinner and a preview of Mary Poppins and was attended by 400 Upper Arlington seniors.

The Upper Arlington Civic Association would once again like to thank the following parties for making the evening such a success: the Upper Arlington High School Vocal Music Department and student actors, musicians, and tech crew for putting on a terrific show; First Community Village for donating and preparing a wonderful dinner for the attendees; the Upper Arlington Parks and Recreation Department for managing the attendee registration process; the Upper Arlington Senior Center and Commission on Aging for advertising and advising on the event; the Upper Arlington Education Foundation for providing fantastic table decorations; Schakolad for providing fantastic, customized truffles for each guest; and Bloomtastic Florist for providing beautiful carnations for the attendees.

In addition, the Upper Arlington Civic Association is excited to share that three scholarships will be offered to students involved in the production, as well as a contribution made to the UA Vocal Music Department. The attendees were thrilled once again to have the opportunity of a great night out in UA.
