To the Editor:
Arlington residents have been fortunate beneficiaries of the public service of two outstanding legislators representing the community, Jim Hughes and Stephanie Kunze.
This November, both are seeking different offices; Sen. Hughes is running for the Ohio House and Rep. Kunze for the Senate.
Both have demonstrated a strong commitment to Upper Arlington and should be elected to their respective offices.
In the last two capital budgets, both have fought for funds for Upper Arlington in order to support our infrastructure and the creation of the city's fiber optics network. Without Hughes and Kunze, Upper Arlington would have not received these critical funds.
Hughes has been a champion for those that protect our community, the police officers and firefighters of Upper Arlington. Kunze has led efforts to reform Ohio's education system and protect our children. Both have been endorsed by The Columbus Dispatch.
Hughes and Kunze work well together, and they work for Upper Arlington. Voters should support the continued efforts of both to serve the citizens of our community.
