To the Editor:

We write in strong support of the election of Sue Ralph to a seat on the Upper Arlington City Council. Not only is she highly qualified but she is the perfect example of the true spirit of UA.

Sue has served the community in numerous ways over many years, always with integrity and wisdom. From her work with the schools, the UA Education Foundation, levy and candidate campaigns, the UA Community Foundation, UA libraries and City Council, Sue's knowledge and understanding of what makes UA special and what it takes to keep it that way run deep.

She has also provided invaluable counsel and advice to many who have sought assistance for family and friends with special needs.

Sue's communication skills are unmatched. She respects multiple points of view. She listens, studies and responds thoughtfully.

Sue respects the traditions of UA while being open to the need for new, creative approaches and innovative solutions to community challenges. She recognizes that sometimes it is necessary to make difficult decisions to continue to maintain the outstanding services and unique character citizens expect and covet.

We are certain Sue will serve the community with dignity, skill and enthusiasm. Please join us on Nov. 8 in voting for Sue Ralph to continue to serve as a member of the Upper Arlington City Council.
