You may agree or disagree with the Ohio Supreme Court's decision to order an election for Upper Arlington City Council. What is indisputable, however, is that Sue Ralph is the most qualified candidate to serve in that position.

Sue has demonstrated her commitment and loyalty to Upper Arlington for many years. She has chaired school levy campaigns, served on the UA Education Foundation board and, most recently, provided outstanding leadership to the Upper Arlington Community Foundation as its executive director.

Sue possesses a deep and broad understanding of the mechanics of Upper Arlington and the value of collaboration and communication among City Council, city government and even the UA school district.

Although Sue's experience in the community speaks for itself, it is the quality of the person that allows us to be even more committed in our support of Sue Ralph. These are challenging times for our country and for our city. Trust, integrity and honesty, while admittedly current buzzwords, are in reality extremely important character traits, especially as they pertain to public office holders. We cannot think of a person who lives a life more exemplary of these traits than Sue Ralph.

As a member of the Upper Arlington City Council, Sue will continue to be an open-minded listener and an objective decision-maker. Please join us in affirming the wise decision to appoint Sue Ralph to City Council last spring by electing her to the Upper Arlington City Council on Nov. 8.
