Eighth Annual Jack Roth 5K Rock N'Run, 9 a.m. June 9, at Bexley High School, 326 S. Cassingham Road. Honorary race chairman Dr. Michael A. Caligiuri, the director of the Comprehensive Cancer Center & CEO of The James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute, will kick off festivities that will also include a Max's Kid's Track Dash and a market place. The event raises money for lung cancer research through the Arthur G. Columbus Take Steps for Crohn's and Colitis Walk, 4:30 p.m. June 22, at the Franklin Park Community Gardens. Take Steps is the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America's national walk program to raise money for critical research and awareness about digestive diseases.
