The woman told Bexley police the suspect pointed a black handgun at her as she was exiting her vehicle and asked for her keys and purse.

The suspect was described as a black man, about 6 feet tall with a medium build, dressed in all black clothing and wearing a black head wrap, reports stated. The man drove southbound through the Mayfield service road and out of sight.

* An employee of a business in the 2500 block of East Main Street reported a male suspect stole a pair of sunglasses May 8.

* A resident in the 300 block of South Ardmore Road reported that between May 9 and 10, someone broke into her vehicle and stole $65 from two purses inside the vehicle, along with a tablet computer.

* A resident in the 1000 block of Montrose Avenue reported someone entered his unlocked unattached garage between May 9 and 10 and took his gas-powered snow blower.

* A resident in the 100 block of Cassady Avenue reported someone entered his home May 11 through an unlocked rear door and stole a video-game console, two wireless remote controls and a tablet reader.

* A resident in the 200 block of South Roosevelt Avenue reported May 11 that someone stole his daughter's cellphone while she was at St. Charles Preparatory School, 2010 E. Broad St., for a retreat.

* A resident in the 500 block of South Parkview Avenue reported that on April 24, an employee of one of two known companies working in her house stole a black velvet jewelry box containing several items of jewelry.

* A resident in the 2600 block of Maryland Avenue reported someone entered her attached garage, which was left open May 1, and stole a lawn mower and a 10-speed bike.

* A resident in the 900 block of Grandon Avenue reported someone cut wires to the air-conditioning unit at the back of her residence in an attempt to steal it between April 28 and May 9.

* A resident in the 300 block of South Parkview Avenue told police someone gained entry into his house May 14 and stole about 30 Oxycodone pills.

* An employee of a Plain City roofing company reported someone stole an air compressor May 14 from his job site at a house in the 200 block of North Parkview Avenue.

* An employee of a business in the 2200 block of East Main Street reported that between May 9 and 13, someone stole three copper planter liners from the rear of the business.

* A resident in the 2400 block of Bryden Road reported someone stole her cellphone from her unlocked detached garage between May 3 and 5.
