On Aug. 22, Bexley police officers said they responded to a parking lot at East Main Street and South Parkview Avenue on the report of a suspicious person possibly attempting to break into a vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle in the back of the parking lot with both its front and back driver's-side tires missing, reports stated.

In other recent reports from the Bexley police department:

* A resident in the 700 block of Sheridan Avenue reported that on Aug. 22, someone stole a grill and a cooler from behind her residence.

* A resident in the 2900 block of East Broad Street reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle Aug. 20 and stole $1.50 in quarters from the center console.

* A resident in the 300 block of South Ardmore Road reported someone stole several items from her vehicle between Aug. 22 and Aug. 23 while it was unlocked and parked in the driveway of her residence.

* A Dublin resident reported she parked her vehicle Aug. 23 on the north side of East Mound Street west of Euclaire Avenue. When she returned to the vehicle, there was damage to a passenger door. It looked as if the damage was caused by a BB gun, according to the report.
