The Canal Winchester Area Historical Society will host its next meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, in the Hockman Meeting Room at the O.P Chaney elevator, North High and Oak streets.

The Canal Winchester Area Historical Society will host its next meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, in the Hockman Meeting Room at the O.P Chaney elevator, North High and Oak streets.

Lancaster resident Eddie Black will discuss painted barns, specifically the Mail Pouch barns. She is a member of Barnstormers, an organization that recognizes the work of the last of the Mail Pouch barn-painters, Harley Warrick. Black will bring samples of Warrick's work.

Meetings are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served and applications for membership in the Society will be available.
