The tour begins at the historical society's complex at the corner of North High and Oak streets, with tickets available for purchase beginning at 6:30 p.m. the night of the event at the Railroad Depot on High Street. Advance tickets may be purchased by calling the historical society at 614-833-1846 or 614-837-8400 or by mail by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope with a check made payable to CWAHS. Prices are $10 per adult, $5 per student ages 6-18. Tickets are free for children 5 and under. The first group will begin the tour at 7 p.m., and the last group will depart no later than 7:30 p.m. Proceeds will go toward the society's operating expenses.
Columbus Mothers of Twins Club, fall-winter kids' clothing and equipment sale, 12:30 to 3 p.m. Oct. 12, at the Resolute Athletic Complex near Easton, 3599 Chiller Lane. More than 100 moms of multiples will be selling their new and gently used children's clothing and equipment such as strollers, car seats, toys, books, games, music, movies, bedding, bath and maternity clothes.
