The Franklin County Local Food Council will host two food policy summits from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 to 6 p.m. May 3 at the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center, 2201 Fred Taylor Drive, Columbus.

The Franklin County Local Food Council will host two food policy summits from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 to 6 p.m. May 3 at the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center, 2201 Fred Taylor Drive, Columbus.

The two events will cover state and local food policy issues, including state legislative trends and federal initiatives regarding nutrition and health.

The morning summit is only open to food council members, and both summits are free for members.

Cost is $10 for the second summit.
