A 22-year-old woman who lives in the 2800 block of Neil Avenue told police she came home from work April 28 to discover that someone had attempted to "jam her door lock with bobby pins." This took place, she said, between 8:15 and 11:30 a.m.

* A 68-year-old Chatham Road man reported at 11:25 a.m. April 26 that sometime after midnight, someone broke into his vehicle and stole $5 worth of change.
