Preservation Parks of Delaware County will host a "Park Safari Challenge" from 2 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 7.

In an activity that will involve decoding animal tracks, counting tree rings and scooping insects from wetlands, participants will follow clues and solve puzzles that will lead them on a driving tour to three parks. Teams will try to be the first to solve the puzzles and cross the "finish line" ahead of their competitors.

The Park Safari Challenge costs $25 per carload team. There is no limit to the number of people per car. The cost includes prizes and a picnic at the end of the event.

Registration is required; contact Saundra McBrearty by May 2 at saundras@preservationparks.com. Please include contact information and the number of people in the carload team.

Registrants will receive information about the tour, including the starting location. For more information, call (740) 524-8600, ext. 6.
