The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced road work on U.S. Route 23 north and south of Delaware.

The exit ramp from U.S. Route 23 south to Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday- Wednesday, July 26-27 for resurfacing. The entrance ramp from Pennsylvania Avenue to U.S. 23 north will also be closed. The detour is Pennsylvania Avenue to Sandusky Street to Central Avenue to U.S. 23 or reverse.

U.S. 23 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Main Road and Penry Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, for resurfacing.

The highway will continue to be reduced to one lane in each direction between Cheshire Road and Troutman Road from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for pavement repair and bridge work. A 45 mph speed limit will be enforced. Completion date is July 29.
