Youth Philharmonic of Central Ohio, Spring Concert, 7:30 p.m. April 1 in the Fritsche Theatre at Cowan Hall on the campus of Otterbein University, 30 S. Grove St. in Westerville. The concert will feature selections from Les Miserables and Pirates of the Caribbean. Also on the program is a string piece written by one of the musicians with arrangements for winds by another musician. The concert is free and open to the public. For more information visit

Six River Valley Chapter of the Archaeological Society of Ohio, 7 p.m. April 4 in Room 424 of Roush Hall at Otterbein University, northwest corner of Park and Grove streets in Westerville. Bill Pickard, assistant curator of archaeology at the Ohio Historical Society, will discuss "Musket Balls and Moose Tracks: Two Recent Archaeology Field Projects at the Ohio Historical Society." The program will highlight investigations at Fort Laurens, Ohio's only Revolutionary War fort, and the recovery of an Ice Age Stag-Moose near Medina. For more information visit
