Delaware police responded to several reports of property theft last week.

A ring worth $250 was stolen between 1:30 and 1:35 p.m. May 19 from a booth at the Delaware Arts Festival in the first block of North Sandusky Street, police said.

Tools worth $120 were stolen between 11:10 and 11:30 p.m. May 20 from where they were left next to a vehicle parked in the 200 block of North Sandusky Street, police said.

Stolen property includes a mallet, wire crimpers and unspecified power tools, according to reports.

Jewelry reportedly was stolen between midnight and 11:22 a.m. May 22 from a residence in the 300 block of Kensington Drive.

Finally, two men were arrested after they were spotted stealing metal from a business lot at 4 a.m. May 22 in the 500 block of London Road, police said.

In other recent Delaware police reports:

* A woman reported someone broke into her home between 2:30 and 11 p.m. May 20 in the 700 block of Fern Drive, but no items were stolen.

* Damage to a vehicle was reported to have occurred between 12:30 and 1 p.m. May 22 in the 200 block of West Central Avenue, police said.

The victim called police to report his vehicle had been damaged and that he suspected a neighbor.

* A vehicle was struck with a rock and damaged at about 5:30 p.m. May 21 while it was parked at the intersection of River and Hayes streets, police said.

According to the victim, an unknown person on the adjacent bike path hurled a rock at the vehicle.

Sheriff's reports

* Farm equipment worth $3,500 was stolen between 8 a.m. May 4 and 1:47 p.m. May 7 from a residence in the 8700 block of state Route 521 in Sunbury, according to Delaware County Sheriff's re-ports.

Unknown individuals trespassed onto the property and stole a rotary hoe and a hydraulic fold packer, reports said.

* A diamond engagement ring worth $2,000 was stolen between 8 a.m. March 1 and 5:52 p.m. May 9 from a residence in the 6900 block of Kilbourne Road in Sunbury, the sheriff's office said.

The victim reported someone entered his home, cut open a mattress and stole the ring.

* A construction worker was arrested after allegedly stealing tools worth $200 between 4 and 7:48 p.m. May 9 from a residence in the 15100 block of state Route 37 in Sunbury, the sheriff's office said.

The victim reported he returned home in the evening to find tools missing from inside his home, including two electric drills and a measuring tape.

The tools were recovered from a construction worker who had been at the site earlier that morning, and he was arrested, according to reports.
