Special Olympics Ohio, 2015 Polar Plunge, Feb. 21, at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium in Powell. As part of the Polar Plunge experience, participants obtain monetary pledges and then agree to jump or slowly crawl into cold water. A minimum in pledges, depending on age and location, is required to participate. Guests will be charged a $10 zoo entry fee. Individuals and groups are welcome; personalized online fundraising pages are available. Harlem Township Heritage, antique roadshow, 4 to 7 p.m. March 10, in the Community Room in the back of the Harlem Township Firehouse in Center Village, 3883 S. state Route 605, Galena. Steve Bemiller of Garth's Auction House in Delaware will provide identifications and appraisals of items brought in. HTH is requesting a donation of $5 for each item to be identified or appraised with all funds raised going to preservation work in township cemeteries. Light refreshments will be available. Classes, workshops

Delaware General Health District, Matter of Balance classes, 3 to 5 p.m. Mondays, March 2 through April 20, at the Center for Older Adults, 800 Cheshire Road in Delaware. These eight-week classes are free and focus on teaching adults age 60 and older different non-strenuous exercises that will help improve balance. Participants also have the opportunity to talk with classmates about experiences and learn ways to reduce the fear of falling. Additional sessions are planned for 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursdays, April 9 through May 28 and Oct. 1 through Nov. 19, as well as 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays, Aug. 5 through Sept. 23. National Alliance on Mental Illness of Delaware and Morrow Counties, Connection Recovery Support Group for adults with mental illness, 7 to 8:30 p.m. the second Thursday of each month at Annie's Outreach/Safe Harbor, 325 S.
