The Friends of the Delaware County District Library have announced that tickets sales are underway for the Jan. 20 appearance of author Piper Kerman.

Kerman, who wrote Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison, will discuss her book at 7 p.m. in Ohio Wesleyan University's Gray Chapel, inside University Hall, 61 S. Sandusky St., Delaware.

Premium tickets are $35 and include priority seating, priority book signing and an opportunity to take a cellphone picture with Kerman. General admission tickets are $25 and include the lecture and the book signing.

Copies of Orange Is the New Black may be purchased in advance at Fundamentals Bookstore, 25 W. Winter St., or at the event. Those who purchase the book in advance must bring their Fundamentals receipt to the lecture; books purchased elsewhere will not be signed.

All book sale proceeds benefit Friends of the Delaware County District Library.
