Dublin-based Znode Inc. was one of four companies recommended by the Development Financing Advisory Council this week to receive more than $4.7-million in state loans.

Gov. Ted Strickland and Mark Barbash, interim director of the Ohio Department of Development, announced Tuesday that four Ohio companies could receive more than $4.7-million in loans to create and retain jobs.

According to a release from the governor's office, Znode was awarded $1.2-million from the Innovation Ohio Loan Fund, pending state Controlling Board approval. The loan would support the commercialization of software made by the company, and could retain four jobs and create 40 additional positions.
