When Zoombezi Bay opens May 21, visitors will see two new waterslides.

The Columbus Zoo & Aquarium water park will open Anaconda Falls and Python Plunge when the doors open at 10:30 a.m. May 21.

"Zoombezi Bay's two new slide additions this year, Anaconda Falls and Python Plunge, will add two more world-class slides to our current slide package," senior vice president of Zoombezi Bay John Gannon said in a news release. "With two more slides, lines will be shorter, but excitement and adventure will be much greater."

Anaconda Falls "whips riders from side to side and through an enclosed tunnel at tremendous speeds," the release said. Python Plunge will accelerate riders and blast them "uphill on jetted water," and shoot them into a 70-foot-long landing pool.

Zoombezi Bay opens daily beginning May 28, and closing times vary each day. Look online at zoombezibay.com for tickets and other information.
