Dublin Vintage Bike Night will continue June 3 in Historic Dublin with a gift for the first 100 riders.

The new event, held the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m. by the Dublin Village Tavern, 27 S. High St., will offer free Vintage Bike Night T-shirts to the first 100 riders.

Organizer David Call said a lot of buzz has been generated over the new Historic Dublin event. It aims to bring vintage motorcycle owners together each month. The May event drew 30 to 35 riders despite rain, he said.

"I've gotten awesome response," he said.

The Dean Insurance Group in Historic Dublin offered to sponsor T-shirts for the new group, Call said.

Call came up with the idea for Dublin Vintage Bike Night when he started building his own European-style motorcycle and realized there was no gathering in the area for European motorcycle owners.

But the event is not closed to other motorcycle owners.

"This brings a lot of people with a common interest together. It's not a parking lot event," Call previously told the Dublin Villager. "I'd really like to help businesses in downtown Dublin, too, and get people in restaurants eating and drinking. The people come first, motorcycles just bring them together."
