Jerome High School and Sells Middle School were recognized at State Science Day.

The state science competition held earlier this month at Ohio State University awarded the two Dublin schools with the Harold C. Shaw Outstanding School Award for student achievement.

The award goes to schools that have at least four students who earn a superior rating or schools that have at least 80 percent of students on the team earn a superior rating.

At State Science Day, more than 1,200 students in grades 5-12 exhibited science, technology, engineering and math projects.
