A Dublin Sells Middle School student snagged honors from the Ohio EPA for a science project.

Seventh-grader Colin Green Gagne won an honorable mention in the Governor's Award for Excellence in Environmental Protection Research in his grade from the Ohio EPA for his project at the May 16 State Science Day.

Gagne's project, "Living Light: Bioluminescence -- the "Green" Light Source of the Future?" was one of 1,000 exhibited at the Ohio State University for the science competition.

State Science Day is organized by the Ohio Academy of Science and is the state championship for science projects.
