A car was stolen from a residence in the 6700 block of Cooperstone Drive between 11 p.m. June 2 and 3 a.m. June 3.

A car was stolen from a residence in the 6700 block of Cooperstone Drive between 11 p.m. June 2 and 3 a.m. June 3.

The victim told Dublin police officials the garage door might have accidentally been left open and someone entered the garage and home to obtain the keys for the car from her purse.

According to reports, the purse was found outside the residence and police found the car in the first block of Alchester Manor.

In other recent incident reports from the Dublin Division of Police:

* A Dublin woman reported to police a man claiming to be a Franklin County Sheriff's Officer deputy called her June 1 and said there was a warrant for her arrest for missing jury duty. The woman's husband called the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and said the call was a scam.

* A tool shed in the 600 block of Metro Place South was broken into sometime between midnightand 5 a.m. June 4 and a snowblower was stolen.

* A wooden stop sign was stolen from the property of a business in the 6400 block of Post Road between 6 p.m. May 1 and 8 a.m. May 2.

* A man reported someone broke into his pool house in the first block of Indian Run Drive and stole a TV and 21 bottles of liquor between 11:30 p.m. May 31 and 8 a.m. June 1.

* Credit cards, an ID and $100 were stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 8700 block of Tayport Drive between 8:45 p.m. May 30 and 8 a.m. May 31.

* Several credit cards and a driver's license were stolen from an unlocked locker at a business on Corazon Drive between 2:45 and 4 p.m. May 31.

* Seven pairs of sunglasses, headphones and other items were stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence in the 8000 block of Summerhouse Drive East between 7:30 p.m. May 31 and 6 a.m. June 1.

* A man entered a business in the 7600 block of Sawmill Road and put four cases of soda into a shopping cart and left without paying at 9:29 p.m. May 24.
