A Blacklick man told Dublin police officers he found a man stealing two lawn blowers from his trailer Aug. 25.

According to Dublin Division of Police reports, the man returned from lunch and found a white male with shoulder-length gray hair removing two lawn blowers from his trailer parked in the 6800 block of Perimeter Loop Road at 1 p.m. Aug. 25.

The man tried to stop the alleged thief, but he jumped into a red pickup truck and drove away.

Reports said a padlock was cut to get into the trailer.

In other recent incident reports from the Dublin Division of Police:

* An Chevrolet Impala, valued at $10,000, was reported stolen from a parking lot in the 5700 block of Briardale Court between midnight Aug. 12 and 2:58 p.m. Aug. 24.

* The window of a vehicle parked at a business in the 6300 block of Cosgray Road was broken and a purse, containing credit cards, a cell phone and other items, was stolen between 12:35 and 1:50 p.m. Aug. 23.

* A teen reported her bag containing makeup, clothes and shoes was stolen from a vehicle parked at Scioto High School, 4000 Hard Road, between 9:40 and 9:45 a.m. Aug. 22.

A window was broken to get into the car.

* A bicycle was stolen from outside Scioto High School, 4000 Hard Road, bet- ween 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Aug. 25.

* A man told police a leaf blower, lawn trimmer and possibly other items had been taken from the garage of his residence in the 6000 block of Heather Bluff Drive between 11 p.m. Aug. 29 and 7 a.m. Aug. 21.

* A trimmer was stolen from an open garage at a residence in the 5700 block of Tynecastle Loop between 8 a.m. Aug. 17 and 5 p.m. Aug. 21.

* An aluminum folding cart, valued at $300, was reported stolen from an open garage of a residence in the 5600 block of Wilcox Road between 11:30 p.m. Aug. 13 and 7 a.m. Aug. 14.

* A man reported a watch, two cell phones, headphones, a bag and his ID were stolen from his vehicle while he was at a business in the 5100 block of Upper Metro Place between 4:21 a.m. and 12:52 p.m. Aug. 27.
