Dublin residents might see a white truck pulling a trailer in various neighborhoods.

As soon as today, Tuesday, Sept. 15, contractor Resource International will begin pavement testing in Dublin.

The city hired the contractor to collect information about the pavement thickness and strength to help prioritize upcoming street repairs, according to information from the city of Dublin.

Resource International uses sensors mounted on a white truck and radar in a testing trailer pulled behind to collect the data.

The testing is nondestructive to the pavement, and the truck should not interfere with traffic or pedestrians, according to information from the city.
