Power was out for some in Dublin for a few days after a storm blew through town the afternoon of Friday, Sept. 11.

Downed power lines caused road closures late Friday afternoon, shortly before evening rush hour, and kept them closed until Monday, Sept. 14.

U.S. Route 33 was closed between Interstate 270 and Avery Road because of downed power lines, but was opened first.

Shier Rings Road between Emerald Parkway and Avery Road, Perimeter Drive between Emerald Parkway and Venture Drive and Emerald parkway between Shier Rings Road and Perimeter Drive were also closed to downed power lines over the weekend.

Areas of the city were also without power for some time and the Justice Center was still running on limited power Monday, Sept. 14.

AEP was expected to finish repairing downed power lines by 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, with roads open in time for rush hour.

No injuries were reported in conjunction with the downed power lines.
