Dublin City Council on Nov. 2 passed incentives that are designed to keep two businesses in town.

Economic-development agreements with Doucet & Associates Co. and XPO Intermodal Solutions Inc. were approved unanimously.

To remain in Dublin and lease a building that is nearly twice as big as its current office, Doucet & Associates Co. received a performance incentive on income-tax withholding capped at $14,000 over five years, as well as a $2,500 relocation grant.

XPO Intermodal Solutions also will remain in Dublin and expand by about 70 jobs in the next five years. The city offered a performance incentive capped at $250,972.
