Students also set an academic record this year for the district with 32 National Merit Scholar semifinalists who will graduate, the most of any single Ohio district.

Participation in advanced-placement courses was also high for this year's graduating class.

Moere than 85 percent of the district's seniors took at least one Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate class during their four years of high school.

Each of the ceremonies will include student speakers and student performances, district officials said.
