Gahanna's Peace Lutheran Church, 455 Clark State Road, was expected to host funeral services at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, for Tina Herrmann and her son Kody Maynard.

Herrmann, 32, and her son Kody, 11, were killed in their Knox County home on Nov. 10 along with Stephanie Sprang, 41, a family friend. Public calling hours were scheduled Nov. 23 for Sprang in Mount Vernon, where a private funeral service was to be held afterwards.

Peace Pastor Kai Nilsen told ThisWeek a member of Peace Lutheran is connected to Herrmann's immediate family, and the church is also big enough to accommodate the large number of people expected to attend.

Nilsen said Peace can accommodate 500 to 600 people, and remote television screens would be used, if necessary.

Arrangements for Herrmann and Kody are being handled through Schoedinger Northeast Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made at any Fifth Third Bank to the Sarah Maynard Benefit Fund.
