The event is held in partnership with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency's (DEA) "National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day," Cardinal Health and several local law enforcement agencies.

People with outdated prescriptions are asked to bring their expired or unused prescriptions and over-the-counter medications to one of seven OhioHealth locations. Law enforcement officers will dispose of these medications in a safe, legal and environmentally conscientious manner.

Locations are Riverside Methodist Hospital, Grant Medical Center, Doctors Hospital, Dublin Methodist Hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital, Westerville Medical Campus and the Delaware Health Center.

Only medications from personal homes will be accepted. The medication may be unused and/or expired prescription and over-the-counter medication.
