Rotary Club of Columbus will present Dances of India, a showcase of classical, folk and Bollywood style dance forms, at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at the Upper Arlington High School Auditorium.

Rotary Club of Columbus will present Dances of India, a showcase of classical, folk and Bollywood style dance forms, at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at the Upper Arlington High School Auditorium.

A number of local dancers will be featured in this event, which benefits Columbus Rotary’s contribution to the PolioPlus program.

PolioPlus is a Rotary campaign that began in 1985 to eliminate polio throughout the world. Bill and Melinda Gates pledged $355 million to the campaign, and have challenged Rotarians around the world to raise $200 million.

Tickets for the event are $25 for adults, $10 for children.

Manaas Restaurant of Lewis Center will provide Indian cuisine in the cafeteria of the High School after the performance.

The Franklin County 4-H Council will host a wine-tasting event from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at the Graystone Wine Cellar, 544 S. Front St.

The event will feature hors d'oeuvres, desserts and silent auction items from all over Ohio.

All of the money raised through sponsorship, donations and the purchase of tickets will go directly to educational programming, camp scholarships, youth recognition and the promotion of 4-H opportunities in Franklin County.

The $55 wine tasting package includes admission to the event, opportunity to participate in the auction, wine tastes, meal with dessert and non-alcoholic refreshments.

The $50 designated driver package includes all of the above, minus the wine tastes.
