Gahanna police recently responded to reports of an incapacitated woman who was shopping with a child at a local business.

A woman was reported dozing off in the toy aisle of a business in the 300 block of South Hamilton Road at 3:50 p.m. Dec. 12. A juvenile was in the woman's cart, reports said.

A police officer was flagged down in the parking lot. The woman was fatigued but it wasn't drug-related, reports said. She called for someone to pick her up, according to reports.

* A man and woman walking around an apartment complex on Vista Drive were reported as suspicious at 8:49 p.m. Dec 13. They were knocking on doors and went behind the trash bin, reports said. They were looking for a missing cat, according to reports.

* A Havens Corners Road resident called police concerned about the well-being of her neighbor's dog, according to a report received at 1:58 p.m. Dec. 13. The dog was in the backyard barking, and it was cold outside, reports said. Police made contact with the dog's owner, who said the dog was barking because he was enjoying the weather, according to reports.

* A package was reported stolen from the front porch of a Codrington Circle residence at 11:45 p.m. Dec. 12. The theft occurred sometime between 3 and 10 p.m. that day, reports said.

* A man in a dark-hooded sweatshirt and dark pants with a book bag stole $30 in candy from a business in the 1000 block of Cherry Bottom Road, according to a theft report received at 5:07 p.m. Dec. 12.

* A woman visited police headquarters, 460 Rocky Fork Blvd., regarding possible fraud activity on her computer, according to a report received at 10:55 a.m. Dec. 12.

* Two company vehicles were broken into in the 900 block of Claycraft Road, according to a report received at 5:40 p.m. Dec. 11. A bag was taken from a pickup truck and it's unknown what was taken from a box truck, reports said.

* A man called a business in the 1000 block of North Hamilton Road and allegedly threatened the staff, according to a complaint received at 5:19 p.m. Dec. 11. Police left a voicemail for the caller, reports said.

* A Vista Drive resident reported fraudulent activity on a credit card, according to a report received at 12:21 p.m. Dec. 11.

* A man attempted to steal beer at a business in the 100 block of West Johnstown Road at 9:18 a.m. Dec. 11. He returned it before leaving, reports said.

* Two Triumph Way families received warnings for disorderly conduct for yelling at each other in the roadway, according to a report listed at 8:49 a.m. Dec. 10. One was also warned for allowing a dog to run loose, reports said.

* The window of a vehicle was broken and a laptop was stolen in the 1000 block of Stoneridge Drive, according to a report received at 7:10 p.m. Dec. 9.

* A Salt Lick Lane resident reported a phone scam in which money was lost at 4:09 p.m. Dec. 9.

* A trailer and lawn mower were reported stolen from the driveway of a residence on James Road, according to a report received at 1:44 p.m. Dec. 9. The theft occurred overnight, reports said.

* Some marijuana was found in a student's locker at Middle School West, 350 N. Stygler Road, after an administrative search at 10:25 a.m. Dec. 8. The school will discipline the student, reports said.
