Consider purchasing items made of recycled content and use reusable shopping bags. Wrapping paper may be recycled as long it is not made of plastic or foil. All bows, ribbons and cellophane tape must be removed. Holiday greeting cards (no foil) and envelopes are recyclable. Many shipping and packaging stores will accept these peanuts for reuse. Newspapers are a packing material that can be recycled.
