A 29-year-old Cincinnati woman told Columbus police officers she was the victim of a robbery March 13 in German Village.

The victim told police the crime occurred about 3:40 a.m. near the intersection at East Fifth and Beck streets, according to Columbus Division of Police incident reports.

She said the suspect made off with a $100 wallet, $150 purse, $150 brown jacket and a $600 iPhone.

In other recent incidents reports from the German Village area:

* Police responded to a report of an assault March 12 in the 300 block of 300 block of East Livingston Avenue.

The man was bleeding from the face and smelled of alcohol, police said.

The victim told police he was walking to his apartment when someone struck him on the back of the head and he fell to the ground.

* A man stole an identification badge from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of East Columbus Street about 7:50 p.m. March 12.

The victim said the crime was captured on a hidden video camera, which showed the man entering the car and looking through the glove compartment and another section of the vehicle.

* A burglar stole a $230 purse, $140 cash and two wallets -- one valued at $20, the other worth $50 -- between 11:15 p.m. March 11 and 7:40 a.m. March 12 from a residence in the 200 block of Thurman Avenue.

* A $750 generator was stolen about 4:40 a.m. March 17 from a detached garage in the 100 block of East Deshler Avenue.

* A $10 downspout was stolen between 4 p.m. March 10 and 8 a.m. March 11 from a house under construction in the 600 block of Mohawk Street.
