Several thefts from motor vehicles were reported recently in German Village.

According to Columbus Division of Police incident reports, they include:

* A $50 case of diapers was stolen midnight and 8 a.m. Aug. 30 from an automobile parked in the first block of East Sycamore Street.

* Between midnight and 8 a.m. Aug. 30, a $50 owner's manual, $5 cash and car registration were stolen from an automobile parked in the 200 block of East Kossuth Street.

* Someone stole $3 in change between 1 and 1:30 a.m. Aug. 30 from a car parked in a residential garage in the 400 block of East Sycamore Street.

The victim told police the suspect entered an unlocked garage and entered the unlocked car. Nothing else was believed to have been stolen.

* Between 2:25 Aug. 30 and 8:25 a.m. Aug. 31, a car was broken into but only $1 was believed to have been stolen in the 500 block of Mohawk Street. The front passenger window was broken in the theft.

* Golf shoes, a shoe bag and golf balls valued at $100 were stolen between 1 and 7 a.m. Aug. 31 from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Bruck Street.

The victim also reported a broken windshield.

* Clothing of an undisclosed value was stolen between midnight and 6 a.m. Aug. 30 from a car parked in the 200 block of Jackson Street.

* A work badge and a couple of CDs were stolen at 6:15 p.m. Aug. 26 from a car in the 100 block of Jaeger Street. The victim said the suspect broke the driver's side window of the car.

* Workout equipment and cologne valued at $150 were stolen between midnight and 6 a.m. Aug. 25 from a car parked in the 1100 block of City Park Avenue.

* Between 11:55 p.m. Aug. 29 and 7:20 a.m. Aug. 30, a work badge, $60 blanket, $5 blanket, $5 worth of hand sanitizer, $30 sunglasses, $30 gas cap and $10 worth of cold medicine were stolen from a car in the first block of Thurman Avenue.

In other recent incident reports from the area:

* Between 8 a.m. Aug. 23 and 5 p.m. Aug. 25, someone broke out the driver's side window of a car parked in the 300 block of East Beck Street . Nothing was apparently stolen. The suspect apparently cut himself and left traces of blood in the car, which were recovered by police.

* A $10,000 GMC Sierra, manufacturing date not available, was stolen at 4:15 p.m. while it was parked in the 1000 block of City Park Avenue. The victim said tools valued at $2,000 also were taken.

* An estimated $700 worth of damage was done between 8 and 11 p.m. Aug. 31 to a car parked at the intersection of Jaeger and Beck streets.

The suspect broke the driver's side window and scratched the driver's side door.
