Two assaults recently were reported in the German Village area.

A felonious assault was reported at 5:55 p.m. Dec. 16 in the 600 block of South Grant Avenue.

The victim said she was repeatedly stabbed by her roommate following an argument, according to Columbus Division of Police incident reports.

A Columbus man said he was assaulted by a livery driver at 12:05 a.m. Dec. 18 at the corner of East Whittier Street and Grant Avenue.

In other recent incident reports:

* A vehicle was stolen at 1:20 a.m. Dec. 17 in the 700 block of South Sixth Street.

The make, model, manufacturing date and estimated value of the vehicle were not listed in the report.

The victim said the car was unlocked and keys were left inside.

* At 2:14 a.m. Dec. 17, an inebriated person attempted to open the door of a residence in the 900 block of Beech Street.

The resident said the would-be intruder was drunk and at the wrong address. The resident later noticed some damage to the door frame.

* Between 9 a.m. Dec. 18 and 1:06 a.m. Dec. 19, someone tried to break into an ATM in the 600 block of South High Street, causing $10,000 worth of damage.
