• A Columbus man was arrested Oct. 23 and charged with no operator's license and making an illegal right turn on red. He was released on his own recognizance.

• A Hilliard man was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with operating a vehicle and speeding. He was issued a citation at police headquarters and released on his own recognizance to a friend.

• A Columbus woman was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence and failure to control. She was taken to the Franklin County Jail.

• A Columbus man was arrested Oct. 20 and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence, driving left of center and failure to signal. He was taken to the Franklin County Jail.

• An employee of a business in the 800 block of Grandview Avenue reported Oct. 19 a portable radio/cassette player, valued at $300, was taken from her desk.

• A Waverly man and a Columbus man were observed by police Oct. 18 taking scrap metal from an industrial dumpster on Yard Street. They were cited for not having a trash collection license.

• Officers were dispatched Oct. 17 to a report of a domestic situation in the roadway at Copeland Road and West Goodale. They found a man from Shaker Heights and a woman from Cleveland arguing. Neither claimed any violence or threats. The pair were found in possession of marijuana and were cited for drug abuse.
