The Grandview Heights Public Library Foundation is seeking three new board members to begin terms Jan. 1.

The board will add two positions and fill a vacancy of an outgoing board member.

The mission of the foundation is to raise private funds to ensure the long-term financial security of the library and enhance its services.

Applicants should have an interest in the work of the foundation, a commitment to its goals, the ability to work as a team member and a willingness to ask questions, offer criticism and make suggestions.

Attendance will be required at six bimonthly meetings each year, along with occasional long-range planning or special-project meetings.

The deadline for applications is 6 p.m. Oct. 16. Application forms are available at the library website, ghpl.org.

Interviews will be conducted Nov. 2-6.
