This year Jackson Township Cleanup Day will take place on May 2.

The event will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and it will be held at the Jackson Township Road Department, 3756 Hoover Road. Any resident of Jackson Township or Grove City may bring junk items to the Township Offices for free disposal.

"The township will accept all junk, appliances, construction and landscape materials, and any other large items," according to the announcement. "There is a limit of four tires per household."

Recycling of computers and television will also be available. All items must be brought to the cleanup site. Those participating are expected to unload their own vehicles, although workers will be available to assist the elderly and others with unusually bulky items.

The Grove City Church of God, 4325 Harrisburg Pike, will hold a revival with international missionaries Glen and Julie Anniskette beginning on Friday, May 1, at 7 p.m.

The event will continue on Saturday, May 2, at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, May 3, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

ĘGlen Anniskette was born to a Tlingit Indian family Alaska, according to the couple's Web site. He was saved at a Church of God youth camp at the age of 17. Julie Anniskette was born in Vermont and grew up in a Pentecostal home. She later attended and taught at Bethel Bible College in Boston.

The two met in 1972 while doing ministry work at a mission church among the Navajo Indians in Farmington, N.M. Call 875-7186.
