The South-Western City Schools Educational Foundation will host its annual golf outing on Monday, June 10 at Oakhurst Country Club, 3223 Norton Road.

The South-Western City Schools Educational Foundation will host its annual golf outing on Monday, June 10 at Oakhurst Country Club, 3223 Norton Road.

Spots are available for foursomes. The outing helps raise money for the Foundation, which awarded more than $60,000 in scholarships to SWCS seniors in the 2012-2013 school year, as well as funding thousands in grants to teachers for classroom initiatives.

A chance to win $10,000 with a hole-in-one is sponsored by Flyer's Pizza & Subs. Participants also can purchase a chance to win a one-year lease on a new car donated by Jack Maxton Chevrolet.

There is also an opportunity to win a brand new car donated by Jack Maxton Chevrolet. Winner would be responsible for taxes and fees

Golfers will play a scramble format. Play begins at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $95 per player or $380 per team of four. The event also includes lunch, a golf cart, door prizes and raffles.

Sponsorship opportunities are available. Hole sponsorships are $100 each.

Registration and payment are due by Friday, May 31. Players, teams and sponsors can register and pay online at swcsef.org.

The South-Western City Schools Educational Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that supports South-Western City Schools.

The group raises funds to provide student scholarships for post-high school education and educational grants to district teachers.
