Police arrested a suspect in a fatal Grove City shooting just before noon Dec. 21 at a motorcycle clubhouse.

Michael Kassner is accused of firing a gun Dec. 20 inside the Lost Souls clubhouse. The bullet apparently went through the wall and struck Bruce Stevens, who was sitting in the driver's seat of a car parked outside a gym near Parkmead Drive and Garden Court at 4 p.m., according to the Grove City Division of Police.

Stevens was found shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene about an hour later.

"We don't believe he was being targeted," said Grove City Lt. Brian Davidson, who called Stevens a "completely innocent victim."

Police were called to the scene at 5 p.m. Dec. 20. Stevens was parked outside Power Shack Family Fitness gym at 4048 Parkmead Drive.

Kassner and Stevens' ages and addresses weren't immediately available.

Police said the stray bullet stuck Stevens, who was parked outside Power Shack Family Fitness gym in the 4000 block of Parkmead Drive.

Police, who were called at 5:09 p.m., don't believe Stevens was an intended target and said the shot was not self-inflicted.

They have no motive at this time for the shooting. They had hoped to check video from a nearby car wash.
