The Grove City High School football team saw its season end with a 40-7 loss at Pickerington North on Oct. 30.

The Dawgs finished 3-7 overall and 2-5 in the OCC-Ohio Division, while North finished 5-5 and 3-4.

The Panthers opened a 21-0 lead after one quarter and outgained the Dawgs 388-172.

Grove City scored its touchdown in the second quarter on Jeremy Ford's 40-yard pass to Jordin Brown.

Ford completed 10 of 20 passes for 110 yards and rushed for 30 yards on 16 carries. Brown had three catches for 87 yards.

Grove City and Groveport tied for sixth in the league, behind Pickerington Central (6-1), Gahanna (5-2), Lancaster (5-2), Reynoldsburg (5-2) and North and ahead of Newark (0-7).

Central, Gahanna, Lancaster and Reynoldsburg all made the Division I, Region 2 playoffs.
