Ted Wierzbicki resigned last week as football coach at Hilliard Bradley High School.

Wierzbicki coached the Jaguars in the program's only two seasons, finishing with a record of 5-15 overall. He was 1-12 in OCC-Capital games.

"Ted resigned last week and, in his letter of resignation, said that he thought it was in the best interest of Bradley football that he step down," said Chip Ebert, Bradley athletics director. "We probably won't start an intense search for a candidate until spring when we have a better idea of what teaching positions will be available."

Wierzbicki came to Bradley after coaching for four seasons at St. Charles, going 20-20. His career record is 51-41 in nine seasons as a coach.

Last season, the Jaguars finished 3-7 overall and 1-6 in the OCC-Capital Division.
