Croton Garden Club members will hold a workshop Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 1-2, to make grave blankets and swags to sell.

The workshop begins at 9 a.m. and will be held at Croton Town Hall.

Orders may be placed by calling Alice Thacker at 893-4848.

The Croton Church of Christ will sponsor a Christmas Cookie, Goody and Craft Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5.

The event will be held at the church's Family Life Center, 40 S. Main St.

Julia's Team Kids Conquering Cancer for Johnstown's Relay for Life will host a Santa Paws fundraiser at Belt Park from 1 to 4 p.m. today (Sunday, Nov. 29.)

In addition to pets having their photos taken with Santa at the Belt Park Barn, some Licking County vendors will be available with handmade Christmas ornaments, two large raffle baskets, Jerky treats from Route 62 BBQ and ribbon gourmet dog biscuits from Bow Wow Bakery.

Members of Johnstown's Faith Fellowship Church will be stirring up homemade soups from 4:30 to 7 p.m. today (Sunday, Nov. 29) at the Youth For Christ building (formerly the Church of Ascension) in Johnstown.

Guests may stop in during these hours for soup and dessert. At least a dozen different kinds of all-you-can-eat soup will be available for a donation.

Monroe Township Firefighters Local 4250 will host a 50-50 Christmas raffle to benefit local families.

In years past, the money from the raffle has been used to support two or three families in buying Christmas gifts for their children or to provide a dinner.

Tickets cost $1 each or six for $5 and can be purchased at the fire station, 24 S. Oregon St.
