The Johnstown FFA recently sent members to the 82nd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.

The Johnstown FFA recently sent members to the 82nd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.

Students attended a career show where they had the chance to talk to many agricultural businesses, as well as to college representatives.

Johnstown FFA members recognized at the convention were Elisa Higgins, who received a GOLD rating for her Agriscience Fair Food Science Fair Project, and four collegiate FFA members who received their American FFA Degrees: Adam Dague, Leonard Marlowe, Daniel Ulry and Joe Julian.

Marlowe, son of Peggy Marlowe and Leonard Burgess, is attending Ohio State University and majoring in Animal Science.

Dague, son of Tom and Dawn Dague, is attending the OSU/Agricultural Technical Institute and majoring in Agronomy/Ag Business.

Julian, whose parents are James and Connie Julian, is attending OSU and majoring in Agricultural Education

Ulry, son of Jeff and Melinda Ulry, is also attending OSU and majoring in Animal Science-Horticulture.

During their trip, the FFA members also visited the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and attended a Toby Keith concert, rodeo and toured an Elk Farm.
