The United Way Day of Caring will be observed from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 17. Projects may include such activities as landscaping, painting, cleaning or small building projects.

As many as 50 volunteers may participate in a new opportunity this year: training to work as a youth mentor.

The deadline to turn in volunteer registration forms is May 4. The deadline to complete a team roster is May 18.
