Farmers market, 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays through Sept. 10 at Bigelow Square at state Route 37 and U.S. Route 62. The farmers market, sponsored by the Johnstown Sons of the American Legion, will include fresh, locally grown produce as well as crafts and goods from local vendors and artisans. AARP Foundation Senior Community Service Employment Program assists unemployed Franklin, Delaware and Licking county workers age 55 and older with securing employment. The program offers paid work experience, specialized training, upgrading of skills and job-search assistance. Age, income and residency requirements apply. Adult flu vaccinations, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays at the Licking County Health Department. Residents may walk in and receive vaccinations with certain insurance companies billed for the service. For those without coverage who are not high risk or those covered by a company the department cannot bill, a $25 fee applies. Mental Health America of Licking County, free support group for teens in grades 6-12, 4 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays at the YES Club, 100 E. Church St., Newark. Topics will include depression, anger, self-esteem, bullying and self-harm. Activities will utilize both written and art journaling. Group leaders will be Shari Johnston and Justina Wade.
