The Licking County Aging Program will offer two holiday events at Zerger Hall Senior Center during December.

The annual Christmas dinner and dance will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10. The menu is roast turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, green beans, pear-jewel salad, pecan pie and beverages. Dinner will be served until 6:30 p.m., when the NTO Band concert will begin.

Tickets for the dinner and dance are $7 and can be purchased at the Zerger Hall reception desk.

A holiday luncheon will be served at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 18. The menu for the first-time meal will be ham with pineapple glaze, scalloped potatoes, Key Largo vegetables, rolls, Christmas cookies, juice and coffee. The lunch is free, but a voluntary donation of $2.50 will be accepted. Reservations are necessary. Call (740) 345-0821 or 1-800-452-0097. Transportation inquiries will be handled during the call.

Other December activities are:

Coffee Conversation, 9 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, with all local and regional newspapers and USA Today. Coffee and breakfast treats will be served. Karaoke Night, 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3. Entertainment, homemade treats and coffee. Karaoke participation is not required. Table Talk, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 9, featuring a representative from Wilson's Garden Center, who will discuss how to decorate your home with things Mother Nature provides. The day's menu is beef stroganoff and noodles, peas, hot chunky applesauce, coleslaw and chocolate chip cookies. Table Talk is open to the public. People under 60 will be charged $6 for the meal. Seniors who reserve their meal are exempt from any cost, including the voluntary donation. Breakfast Club, 9 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30 at Bob Evans restaurant in Heath. Seniors are responsible for their meals. The off-site meal includes door prizes and other special features. Members receive an LCAP Breakfast Club membership pin.
