Hopewell Dental Care began its “Treats for Troops” campaign Oct. 26. The drive runs through Nov. 15.

As a way to promote good dental care and philanthropy, the practice will purchase Halloween candy for $1 per pound from residents and patients. Candy will be sent to troops serving in the U.S. military overseas.

Donations may be made at the practice’s location at 572 Industrial Parkway in Heath or at AMVETS of Ohio, 1395 E. Dublin-Granville Road in Columbus.

Last year, patients and area residents brought in 574 pounds of candy for Treats for Troops. This year, the practice hopes to collect 689 pounds of candy.
